So I am taking a break and I hear the happy noise of chizeling being done on the pocket door. Go down and think to myself...hmmm that door handle is awful high. Got DH to slide the door out of the pocket. He had hung the door upside down! Six panel door with the little pockets at the bottom. I did make it out of the room before I started to laugh. Poor DH is not a carpenter but he makes up for it by being highly entertaining to watch.

Yes poor guy! He was laughing too. This was a quick fix and thankfully not a huge mistake. As I recall this is the second door he hung upside down. We will be able to write a "how not to reno" book soon.

LOL, I only laugh because it sounds just like my DH.
