Hi All Well here in Australia it is the day after Boxing Day and we have had rain on the Darling Downs since Christmas Eve. My backyard is a temporary swimming pool.
The forecast is for more rain, and more rain - the creek is going to peak again for the second time in 7 days and flood certain parts of the town. Nothing we can do about it.

No houses have water in them but the yards may need awhile to dry out.

Anyway have a nice christmas break and happy new year

Hope you can stay dry. A great day to quilt or read a book.

do you realize how many people would love to sit in their home and look in the yard and see their very own swimming pool?LOL! My prayer is for clean water to drink and some sunshine to dry up your waterlogged land. God Bless from San Diego, California where we are expecting rain on Wed.

You know I have heard that quilting might make the rain stop - or did I just make that up? Hmmm, well, can't hurt to try! Seriously hope no-one has to deal with flooded homes.
