I also got it at WalMart, but I had purchased the

that store is much further out of my way than any
other store (PLUS it is the only one with bolt fabric)
I seldom get over that way.

But I will send you at least the fat quarter, IF I have
more (don't remember what I have now) I will send
you a half yard.

louise you are very generous hearted. thanks sew much for thinking of this and only if you want/can really spare it. i have been shifted into crisis management mode since my sil was confirmed diagnosed with the big "C" yesterday and i have their 3 children the rest of the week. i probably will not get to wally world soon.

my db & sil have been on a 2 month odyssey to finally get to this diagnosis. the docs thought she was having heart problems so that's where they were looking. now that it's confirmed she has the big "C", they both are winding through the process to find out where exactly it is(uterine, ovarian), stage & progression if any. my db & sil are both in their early to mid 40's and understandably overwhelmed right now so i will be a concerned & praying sister & auntie this week to give them time to do their emotional wrangling.

if any of you feel so inclined, i ask for your thoughts & prayers for their family. i am one who truly believes that prayer changes things.

mary

Havplenty, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. God has made some incredible doctors and scientists who have developed incredible treatments. I am praying for hope, help and grace for all of you.

So glad my RAKs are appreciated. Enjoy the PEZ candies. Nostalgia in every bite. LOL

I apologize if this was already asked, I didn't see it...

Those of you who want scraps...does it matter how small they are? Sometimes mine are pretty small, especially when I'm cutting my flowers for my bows. Like under an inch. I know some people don't mind them small for crumb quilts and such.

Just hate to save and send if they can't be used bc they are too small. And they'd just be collected, not organized in any way.

I agree with Kris aka thomp116 it is nice to open a package and receive rather than an envelope wanting.

oooooooohhhhhhhh Mary I am so sorry to hear about your SIL.

I will keep your family in my thoughts.

On another note, I just applied for a job with Scottrade
(where hubs works) and IF I should get "lucky" to be hired
then I will have to go to St. Louis for a 2 week stint to do
on-board training and such.

If that happens maybe we can meet up for a beverage
(coffee, tea or something NON-alcohol). Personally I
would much rather meet up with somebody who I would
have something in common with as to meeting up with my
"I have a PhD, so therefore I am better than you" SIL.

Yeah I know I sound "bitter" towards her, but I just do not
like her and avoid her as much as I can, even my hubs
(her brother) doesn't like being around her.
