so much for my "reading" the package before buying, now if I can

I want to shout out a HUGE "THANK YOU" to Suz who is not a
member of the RAK list, but she saw my signature where I am
trying to collect mugs from ALL the States of the Union.

She was able to find me 2 mugs for my collection, one is a state
mug the other is not, but is super cool anyways.

Here they are:

The first mug is from New Jersey so I can now mark that off the
"need" list.

The second mug is "Presidents of the United States" it has their
signatures up to Clinton.

Nice Louise! I've never seen a "Presidents" mug anywhere.

Me either.

My first mother in law got a mug from the Bush Inauguration (the first Bush).
I was suppose to get her mug collection when she passed, but that didn't happen.

Gals, I am new to this thread. Regarding the light-weight fusible interfacing. Cut it into 2-1/2" strips and use to fuse two pieces of batting together when your batting is bit short. Something similar is sold at mucho buck for the same purpose. The owner of a LQS told us about use of this interfacing.

And since I am new here. What exactly is RAK? Thanks. Suzanne

RAK= Random Acts of Kindness or as you referred to it as "pay it forward".

I have a list of names, addresses, and information about each person that
helps to send items that is wanted/needed. Such as notions, favorite fabrics
colors etc...

Big thanks to havplenty and brenda21. I received RAKs from them both. I've thanked them privately and apologize for taking so long to say a thanks on this thread. Life has been crazy. I have 9 kids in my home day care now from 6am-10pm...so I seldom get to get on the board anymore

Wanda, thank you for the beautiful fat quarter you sent me. I sure did not expect anything in the mail. It is a navy print which will go perfectly with the kaleidoscope quilt I am planning.

Oh My Gosh!!! I just realized I never upload pix of the fantastic package the wonderful Havplenty sent me.

It was a delightful package with the sweetest ever note, an inspirational booklet, beautiful Virgin and Child greeting cards, luxurious spa goodies, the most magnificent vintage doilies, and ... are ya ready? ... not one but TWO of the coveted ps potholders!!!!

So sorry Mary! Here they are:
