Shesh do you ever have one of those days when you are at work
but totally HATE being there because you want to be home sewing?
I NEED to be home sewing today, but I am stuck here until 5pm.
That 4 hours 15 minutes to go. I am on the count down.
Somebody entertain me to help pass the time LOL.

~ well here is something to laugh about. my central air went out last night so the repair man came today to fix. it was the same hvac guy that had tried to pick me up twice before. now he truly is a cutie, he's serbian, tall, nice accent and about 10-13 yrs younger than me (the cougar in me doesn't mind that at all lol).
but today when he came by i was drenched in sweat, half naked and looking one hot mess. i mean no makeup, hair twisted in a knot, barefoot, tongue hanging out, sweat drenched. a mess. it was about 100 degrees in my apartment. okay so now that he has seen me at my worst, do ya still think he may wanna to go out with me? lol i mean a guy doesn't usually see us like that until after we marry them.

LMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mary you crack me up just what I needed to help get me
woke up (for a few minutes at least).
As for my interview - Well I feel it went pretty well, it is 15 hours
per week, Mon-Fri. Temporary it could last a month up to six months.
Since this job is working for the State of Colorado who knows how
long it will take them to fill the job.
I in turn WILL be going to the website to apply for the job.
Mary - Do you WANT to have a date with him?
I HOPE that I can get a job soon because I want to be able to send
out some more RAK's I have MANY envelopes of stuff to send, but
right now no money to for the postage.

~ once you get hired by the state you may be able to apply for other open positions unless you are going through a temp agency then the rules are probably different. have you looked into any non profit agencies for employment? the pay scale is usually lower but it will keep you off the street. i interviewed at a not for profit the other day and i knew when she asked me for my salary history that was it. oh well i gave it a shot.
~ i too have plenty of stuff to send out but.... yep postage is a factor. but this too shall pass. we just need to hang in there. and raks will be around so we will get to it.
~ on another note i saw my sil wednesday for the first time in a couple of weeks and she has lost an enormous amount of weight. she said she has lost over 70 pounds and this since may 2012. i was literally ready to start balling right there on the spot. cancer is a thief that can rob one of their vitally little by little. knowing what her and my db and their family are going through helped me to put my woes into prospective.

Well I did NOT get the job with the Colorado State Lottery oh well another
one bites the dust (as the song goes).
I have not had the money to mail any RAKs as much as I want to mail
them I just right now. I know that I am not the only one who is in a major
money crunch right now either so I can understand how it is for everyone.
Just want to let you all know that I may not be on much (if at all) from
Thursday until Sunday. We are FINALLY going to get our trip up to my
FIL cabin. Tim & I have not been there since Thanksgiving 2007. I amso
excited to go up there.
On Sunday when we leave we have decided not to take the "short" 2 hour
drive back home, instead we are going to do something I have never done
and he hasn't done since second grade (and he doesn't remember that far).
We are taking the long way home which means we are going through the
Rocky Mountain National Park hoping to stop and take lots of pictures. For
this we are both pulling out the "big" cameras his Nikon D500 and my Nikon
D70s; of course I am still going to take my little pocket size Nikon S570 but
doubt I will use it to much.
I am excited to be making my first trek through RMNP. But it is going to be
a long 6+ hour ride home, think maybe I need to pack a memory foam pillow
to sit on as the Jeep is not all that "fun" to ride in.
Oh and Tim mentioned maybe taking the doors off the Jeep never done that
either so that should be fun (I hope).

Just want to say a big "THANK YOU" to Sharon aka lovestoquilt. What a very pleasant surprise when I checked my mail yesterday. When I saw the envelope and address I was very puzzled, RAK did not come into mind at that time so when I opened it it brought a smile to my face and gave me a lift for the rest of the day. The purple piece of fabric will go into my special stash for the quilt I intend to make for myself one day.
