I know that when I do something to make someone else happy, it makes me happy. And I love being happy. It's kind of like that "what goes around, comes around" idea. I have so much and don't need anything, but have sent people here and online (Russia and Germany) fabric and quilt kits and it makes me happy when they express their delight! I love this thread!!!

Saving the addresses so that at a later time I can randomly send the
person a "surprise" RAK has always made ME smile just knowing that
I sent something out to someone who is NOT expecting what they will
be getting.

Word seems to have "spread" and I have been receiving pm's asking me
if I would add their name to my list and will share the list. The list has grown
quite a bit over the last several weeks.

I LOVE reading about someone getting a surprise in the form of a RAK
on a particularly rough day and getting a smile because of it.

Keep up the great work everyone.

A big thank you to walk-n-roll for my RAK. Got it earlier this week or the end of last week - can't keep track of time right now. Anyways I loved it! My easter egg is hanging by the sewing machine. Thanks again!

I received my first RAK today from sweetwaterquilter (Gail)! It was such perfect timing as my heart is heavy. My dd and sil were a "kinship placement" for a sweet drug affected infant and she was taken to her mom in rehab this morning. We just miss the little girl SO much already. So, it was just what I needed today. She made me a little wallet out of the cutest sewing fabric in my favorite colors! Thank you so much, Gail!! (the last pic is of sweet little Sammie. Please pray for her wellbeing. Thank you)

Renee, at least Sammie is smiling now, the 1st pic she looked like she was in a stupor. That says a lot about you (dd & sil) and your nurturing......God Bless

I have a question for everyone.

When your piecing (quilt top or anything OTHER than clothing)
do you use different colors of thread? or do you only use white,
natural or black?

I'm curious because I LOVE to use colors so I have a "healthy"
supply of the CT thread sets, but I also make sure I keep more
than enough black and (mainly) white on hand.

I happen to think about this because I finally got my CT order
delivered today and I couldn't stop ooohhing and awwwing
over my colors (as usual).

Even got a small amount of fabric 1 yard each of three different
colors cherry red, yellow and purple (yes that is a small amount for me).
