Mary,

My family and I wish to send out (another) THANK YOU for the
dinner gift certificate.

My wonderful husband, oldest daughter and I went there for
dinner this evening and we all ended up getting something
with roast beef, I had a "build your own sandwich" with RB
on ciabatta bread with basil mayo (out of this world), than
I also got a spinach salad that had dried cranberries, candied
walnuts, gorgonzola cheese, & avacado with a raspberry
vinaigrette dressing. Hubs got a roast beef & gorganzola cheese
crepe, and my daughter got the roast beef french dip.

The prices were GREAT and the service was outstanding. But
I AM going back for the food again.

Oh yeah we also got dessert a chocolate, caramel, chopped
nuts crepe with whip cream.

I feel like a stuffed toad or maybe that should be a fat frog
(the name of the cafe is "Fat Frog Cafe").

THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

[QUOTE=Havplenty;5070389]one of my rak recipients let me know that she got to use her dinner certificate and enjoyed the restaurant. i do hope that the other recipients will have an opportunity to use theirs also and have a great meal.

No I have not updated the list in a couple weeks.
There has not been any new additions or changes
except for the pm I just got from arizonagirl updating
some of her info.

I will try to get that done this week.

There was a couple people who sent me pm's asking
to join, I requested that they send me an email, but
so far they have not done that.

The yahoo group is ONLY for those from here and is PRIVATE
(not listed on any group list and secured by approval only).
It is not mandatory that everyone sign up there or anything
there is a more "detailed" profile info form there for those who
wish to do so. So far there is only 11 members with 9 "About Me"
profiles completed.

I want you to also know that the necklace you made is the
FIRST necklace I have been able to wear in over 5 years.

It does not irritate or "hurt" neither of my incision scars from
my 2 neck surgeries. Especially the incision scar on the back
of my neck which is about 2-3 inches long and is right where
a necklace would lay.

Not to mention it is long enough that I don't feel as if I am
choking.

I LOVE it all thanks again.

Yeah I FINALLY got him to actually go INTO a restaurant to
sit and eat.

He is such a big introvert and it is hard to get him into "social"
settings. Its hard to get him to agree to family gatherings with
his parents, family and my family.

Although last week we did go to my brothers only because he
needed to pick up his car which I brother did some front end
work on.

Me I am the extrovert in the family, but after nearly 12 years
together I find that some of my "social" outgoing has kind of
slipped. Most times I much prefer to just stay home unless I
can communicate with people who UNDERSTAND my passions
and desires for sewing and all things fabric.

Guess I am just becoming a weird old lady (and I haven't even hit 50 yet).

Although Tim did say that next time he wanted to try one of
the sandwiches they have, so that is a positive sign (I think).
