No, I am not using a template. I am using the technique in a book called Sew Simple Pineapple by Karin Hellaby. It really is simple. I am a beginner and still getting good results.

thanks i did see that and it is really cute. i love that lake erie postcard too. i should include postcards on my list of things to collect as i have many of them in my photo albums. sometimes postcards are the only way to get the best picture shots.

i have been including st. louis arch & scenic postcards ever since i have been doing the sp swaps so all would see just a tiny portion of my city.

Default Rotary blades sharpening

Just an FYI if anyone would like me to sharpen their old
dull rotary blades mail them to me, and include a note
with the quantity you are sending.

I can do 28mm, 45mm & 60mm (sorry I can't do the 18mm).

A few months ago I bought one of those "True Cut" electric
rotary blade sharpeners and I LOVE it!!!!!!!! really has cut
down on how much money I spend on blades.

It was easy to convince my husband to let me buy one, (on sale
for $50). He said the cost was ridiculous. So I said that's fine I
will just continue to buy NEW blades at $8+ per blade. He went
to his desk sat there for about 15 minutes then told me to go ahead
and buy one. I guess he did the math LOL.

But I am glad he let me get it because it works like a dream. I was
even able to improve on those cheap Harbor Freight generic blades.

So just let me know if you want me to sharpen some blades for you.

NO CHARGE (just postage for mailing them back to you).
