Default Bobbin holders

i have a question, how many of you like & use the ponytail holders for your bobbins? i saw on a thread that some didnt like them because it prevented them from seeing the thread colors. i am not sure how that happens because the plastic bobbins are see through and the metal ones have holes in them so you can see the thread plus you can always just move the elastic down just a bit to see your thread.

All my bobbin holders hold the bobbin in such a way that I cannot see the top of bottom of my clear bobbin, only the threads on the side. Maybe other people have similar bobbin holders?

I have not used ponytail holders for bobbins, I bought clear vinyl table cloth by the metre and cut strips to wrap around bobbins and spools of thread to hold the loose thread. It works and you can see the colour easily.

Lynnie, loved your sewing rolly!! and I PM'd Louise-got no response yet but it has been less than 48 hrs so . . . I was asking her if the latest RAK names list was the one I received in late sept? I have a few things to mail and wanted to make sure I was working from the right list. my puter was hacked and I had a heck of a time getting things straightened out. so I wasn't on here regularly for a bit. trying to get back in my groove. lol

Hope all is going smoothly for you, lynnie. My little sewing kit went traveling with me the last two weeks and came in real handy.

Hi all

For anyone who would like to send a card or an RAK to Krystyna I am going to post the address... Melissa asked that you put RAK on the outside of the envelope along with your name and board name... The mail will go to her house..
She really has no place to store things right now so thinking that maybe once she gets settled we could all do her a FQ shower... Some people may have other ideas... We all need to pray that thinkgs get better and Thank God they all made it through all this....

Here is the Address Would love to see everyone send a card note whatever so she knows we are all praying and care...

God Bless

Am glad some of the cards got to her - opening them and just knowing others care can help a great deal. Melissa - the Kathleen Van Orsdel is me - and my board name is vanogay. I'm also the one who forgot to mark RAK on the outside of the card - oh well, chalk it up to another senior moment. Tell your MIL that we do care and will be keeping in touch.

Lynnie

Many people have a bad habit of putting off till tomorrow things they should make a note to do ASAP and they never do them.... I know for a fact that I havne't gotten any RAK's in months... You'd think if someone thought enough of them to send something they would acknowledge it... I am not referring to OUR K as she doens't have internet and I know she appreciates all the cards and things we have sent... If you receive something please take the time to say THANKS... GodBless Rosemary
