I know I am having a difficult time this Mother's Day being my first without my dear mother and have seen that several other members are in the same boat.
I thought it would be neat to have a thread to lovingly remember our mothers and what they did for us.
I lost my mom in December and miss her terribly.
She NEVER cussed, drank or smoked and set a wonderful example for each of us. I miss you mom. Love you forever!

My beautiful mom

I wrote this blog post today to honor my mother. She's been gone since 1987 and most of the time I'm okay with that. But today as I wrote the post I did a lot of crying and missing her.

I posted this today........mine left in 1991.

For you Mom in Heaven!¸¸.•*"Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ"*•.¸¸
If flowers grow in heaven Lord, then pick a bunch for me ▬▬▬ place them in my Mom's arms and tell her they're from me. ▬▬▬ Tell her that I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, ( ◕‿◕。) ღ ❤ place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while. I love you Mom.♥

My mom died in 1998 and there isn't a day goes by that I don't miss her a little or sometimes so very much. But it's a new generation - my daughter will call tomorrow and the boys and then one day they will all miss me, but their children will be calling them. Have a nice Mother's Day everyone.

My Mama's been gone for 32 years. I still miss her but it doesn't hurt like it used to. My children never really knew her and I wish that they could have, but I make up for it by being very actively involved in my grandkids' lives.

I miss my mom. She passed away May 21 last year. My son and DIL are here from Indiana and we just went over to see my dad. He is having a hard time and missing her. They were married for 64 years when she passed away. They showed me what commitment meant in a marriage.

My Mother passed away August 2003. My Father died just 4 mos. prior to her. So sad this time of year. I miss you Mom!
Love you always and forever, Susie xxoxoxox

My mother passed away in 2002 and I still miss her so very much. She taught me many things by her example, but the best, very best, thing she taught me was to sew!

I lost my mom in 2005, it will be 6 years come this sept. Lost my dad 2 yrs ago. Sometimes it is really hard being an adult "orphan". My mom fought cancer for 37 years before she died, so in many ways she was and is still my hero. She kept her sense of humor and determination throughout all those years of fighting the monster inside of her. I miss her terribly. It still feels like only yesterday. I remember praying for a miracle during her last days. Took me a while, but I finally realized that we had our miracle all along with those 37 years God let us have her and took care of her. I would like to wish all the moms, stepmoms, adoptive moms, foster moms, stand-in moms, etc. a very special Mother's Day. And to those of you who still have moms, give them a hug from me..... My kids won't be home for this Mother's Day, so I am feeling a bit blue right now....so sorry.

My mother passed away December 2003 and I miss her dearly. I think that Mother's Day is always a day of mixed emotions for those of us who no longer have our mothers to share this day with.
