There are times when I'd like to respond to only one part or one sentence of a long post, but I don't know how to single out that section of the post when I click on "Quote Reply".

I've seen it done in other replies, but I'm at a loss. Can someone help me out? Thanks.

click on quote reply, then delete the parts you dont want. you have to keep the brackets at the beginning and end of the quote, but you can delete any of the message between them.

or you can highlight the part you want to respond to, right click-to copy- then right click to paste the sentence to your post.

JC and CK, thank you so much. I've printed out your answers for reference (I'll forget if I don't!). I learn something from QB members every time I log on. It's just great to "know" everybody. Thanks again.
