I have just watched CNN on cable and seen that our flooded town has made the US news! It must be big news indeed. While we are still dry at the moment, if we get another deluge, I am not so sure. Although we did get about 6 inches of water through downstairs on Boxing Day. We are stocked up on some food items as the road has been cut off and the airport closed.
I have posted some pics taken from my place on Boxing Day. Its a bit drier now. The closest the flood is to my place at the moment is about a block and a half away.
There are many people in town that are no so lucky, their houses are well under water, and will be for several weeks yet.

Oh I hope you don't get any more water, and have a bit more sunshine to dry that up some. It can't be too pleasant to live in a lake.

I am so sorry for you and your neighbors. Praying it will all be over soon and dry out.

Why is it we either have too much rain or not enough? I'm sorry about this mess and hope it dries up soon and you and your neighbors don't get water in your homes.
