Well I found out yesterday that a rotary cutter cuts more than fabric. The almighty left pointer finger. Trip to the ER, and they could not sew it back on. I cut the inside right up against the nail. I remembered a few hours later that I think I had the cutter on the ruler instead of next to it, I was extremely tired, and accidents happen that way. Hubby went to clean blood up in sewing room RIGHT AFTER IT HAPPENEDand there was the side of my finger laying there, and couldn't get it to stop bleeding, so grab it and to the ER. i GUESS IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE

OWWIE!!! I hope your finger heals quickly. I'm waiting for the day I cut myself or sew my finger, I am that accident prone.

    Hugs

OUCH! Hope you heal well and quickly. I always see on Fons and Porter TV show they wear a cutting glove when using the rotary cutter, guess it is a good habit to get into. I am going to buy one. Feel better.

I have found out that I never cut anything, including my fingure when I am tierd. So sorry you had to go through that - hope it heals very soon.
