    Default Royal Caribbean Cruise fire

I just returned home this morning from the Granduer of the Seas, the ship that caught fire early monday morning. As I'm watching all of the media posts regarding this incident, I'm getting annoyed at how hard they are looking for negative news to report. As a passenger on the boat, I have to say the Captain and crew kept things well controlled, took excellent care of all passengers and have gon above and beyond in compensation to it's passengers. I would gladly board a Royal Caribbean cruise tomorrow without hesitation!

Glad you are fine and safe.

I think a lot of that media hype is for generating lawsuits. Everyone always wants to sue someone especially big corporations. I read and article yesterday on this and most did say the Captain and crew did a wonderful job.

Glad to know you're ok. I'm sure the crews are drilled in emergency situations and know exactly what to do.

I have found that news is always negative. I rarely watch it anymore because it depresses me.

I'm glad you had a decent experience and that they tried hard to make everyone happy with a horrible experience. it all depends on what Country owns the cruise lines too, so it helps to know that and then go for it. Happy next trip.

We went on the Royal Carribbean cruise once, not that ship. We had no complaints. Its a great cruise line and "things" happen in any vacation matter. I know they will keep their great name and respect even after this ordeal.

Grand that your ok and the line is taking care of you! My first and (sadly) only cruise was with Royal Carribbean, had a wonderful time. They had a rug/quilt hanging on our floor. I took pictures and swore to my DH that one day I would make a quilt like that! LOL That was in 1981!....about time I got those photo's out!

That is the same line McCall's quilting cruises uses. I'm glad to hear you are happy with them. I'm thinking about going on a quilting cruise in Jan. or Feb.

I have been on several RC cruises and had positive experiences. Going to Alaska in August on Rhapsody with my daughter and DGD.
