Default Sandy...

How did you fare??? Here in the ctr of the island got alot of winds, in all directions
Lickily, no other damage . How about by you?

My dh says ive got it really bad when the showed a storm screen with mottled blue, green and aqua and i said, looks like nice fabric.

Our prayers go out to you and your families for a speedy cleanup, and hope you lost a minimamal of your personal items..

I'm in upstate NY near Lake Ontario. We had high winds and rain but no damage to speak of. I'm sure some people around here lost trees and power, but as for me, we faired pretty well. Went out this morning and cleaned up the whips from the neighbors weeping willow tree. Hope everyone else is safe.

I Live in the NE corner of Pa. We had some wind, a minimal amount of rain, no flooding and no loss of power. We lucked out. Its so sad to see all the destruction and homes lost as well as some lives. Prayers to those effected by this storm.

Folks in WV and VA mountains and even NC are not out of the woods yet as flash flooding and general flooding due to the snow melt will pose problems for those folks. It isn't over yet.

I am still without power in my country house in Sullivan County, NY. In the city, we have friends (husband, wife, daughter, dog) with us because they have no power and live on the 12th floor.
