I just had to share the Mother's Day card that my daughter gave me. I know all you Moms out there will relate. The card is
11 X 17 and reads -

Mom - as I was running through the house with scissors, wearing a pair of dirty underwear, I realized that I needed to get you a Mother's Day card. (My actual words were, "Darn, I need to pick up a freaking' card for Mom!") So, with messy hair and unbrushed teeth, I hitched a ride to the store with a nice stranger who gave me some candy. And without the sales clerk (who I think you know from church) noticing I stole this card for you! Well, anyways, I gotta go... My no-good friends are jumping off a bridge, and, of course I have to do it, too!
Happy Mother's Day (Did I mention that I was sitting too close to the tv?)

It came with the scheduling of a trip to the local nursery to purchase a new rose for my rose garden (which I lovingly refer to as my therapy garden, hmmm wonder why) and the labor to put it in.

That girl is the love of my life. She is so smart, sassy and quick on her feet!

My baby is 24

Oh boy, can I relate!! My oldest son picks out the funniest, most appropriate cards for all of us. He really "shops" for the perfect card, and we all can't wait to see what we get from him. I usually get two cards from him, one other mushy. This years said,Mom, I can't help the way I turned out." Inside said,"Guess you are to blame." And I am!!!!
