SinceI am new to the field of embroidery, could someone explain what it mean about digitizing? I see this mentioned a lot, but have no idea about software or things related to machine embroidery. Thanks.

I don't know if I can explain it exactly but it's turning a photo or something into a format that your embroidery machine can use and stitch out.
I needed a logo for my SIL's new company. All I had was a photo of it and she turned into a great embroidery file for me!
