Red face Scrap Yarn Christmas Ornament

I had so much fun making this today! It's not a quilt but it's fabric-ish I suppose It is made 100% out of yarn scraps that were only a foot or 2 long at the most and no less than about 5 inches in length. I'm really stretching myself to use materials I have on hand. I made this one to sell in my shop but I may just make myself one too

Cute, bright and lightweight, what more could you want from an ornament! Nice work.

I like your ornament. Did you make it from a pattern or made it up yourself. I would like to have the instructions so I may make some of them.

Smile Would love to make one myself!

Pretty! I have been looking at some of the ornaments that people make online...something I had never thought of doing. But they look fun and relaxing; so will be giving it a try. Thanks for sharing.

yes, did you crochet around a styrofoam ball or just make a ball shape and stuff it? Very colorful and would use those scraps!

Red face ornament

I also like unbrakable ornaments! When I had my daycare I used unbreakable ornaments (mostly snowflakes and angels I had crochet). I started to collect little brass bells for my tree and friends started giving me tiny sewn pillow ornaments. My mother gave me a plastic canvas village onament set. Another friend gave me a wooden snowman and angel. Since I no longer have the daycare and my children have grown up people are begining to give me glass ornaments however I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the home made.
