I dunno, I kinda like them interspersed with the day's "news" myself, kind of like a little surprise. :D

I wouldn't mind if they were prefaced. Well, actually, now that I think about it. I don't really care. General chit chat is just that.
The whole CAPITAL LETTERS warning thing is what I don't get. Let's talk with our inside voices ;-)

there are bazillions of joke sites, game sites, and puzzle sites out there ... to name just a few.
let's keep our quilting board as a quilting board. ;-)
I like when they put it in the title "very funny", "todays funny" or simply state "a joke", I can either read or ignore
there do seem to be an awful lot of word games, do they ever end?
I also think we need a section for jokes and games. That way you don't have to click on it if you don't want to.

if somebody wants to volunteer to manage it, we can create a new virtual section for jokes, but there is no need for a separate real jokes section.
