that was great! i used to go with my kids and carried my own bag. if asked i said i had a kid at home that couldn't come along. (that was my husband, someone had to stay home and give out treats!) before kids i lived in a young adult neighborhood. we would go door to door with a tumbler in hand, and when they opened the door said, "tricker drinking", and we'd get a refill of whatever they had. you knew it was time to go home when you couldn't remember where home was. i never made it past the 3rd door, but i always woke up in bed....
