Default Serger Miracle

I hadn't used my serger in over 5 years. While at Hobby Lobby the other day I found a piece of fabric that I thought would make a nice holiday pillowcase just for me. I really wanted to serge those seams so came home and got the serger out. It took me an hour to find the manual but thank goodness the loopers were still threaded. Got everything ready to go and it was perfect - like I had just been using it all along. So here is MY holiday pillowcase. The fabric just made me happy.

Too funny. I just got mine out the other day and was using it. Great minds think alike.

I would feel happy laying my head on that fabric, too.

I've been in a 'pillowcase' mood for the past year or so. Made or making all the little ones in the family pillowcases for Halloween and Christmas. Have 6 pinned and ready to serge right now. And there are several babies who will need pillowcases in a few years - so it's ongoing. I've even made myself a few pillowcases - most recently one to match a throw I made myself.
