Sewing With My 5 Year Old Grandson

My grandson and I periodically sew together. We were doing it this afternoon and he was looking in the drawer where I keep the feet. My machine has a plate with all the various stitches and he wanted to try them. So I explained to about how different stitches use different feet. We sewed several stitches and he discovered the walking foot and he said "This one is crazy!" I told him the name of it and he said "They have feet that walk just like we do!"

Could have a wonderful, talented grandson that goes into quilting like some of these other very talented men.

    I recently got an inexpensive
