My elves havn't been around since early spring. I think they may have gone on strike! Woe is me. I can't find my 3 pair of scissors anymore and my sewing area is a MESS! I'm wondering if, during the night they sneak in there and mess everything up!

My mother told me the good fairies were on strike MANY years ago. She expected me to pick up the slack, can you imagine? Evidently when I moved out of her house they didn't even notice because they sure have never found me. If they would come here I can promise them bad working conditions and an unending work load, no benefits and poor compensation. What do you think the odds are of their help any time soon.

Mine ran screaming out of the house when the UPS driver delivered the 2,000th yard of fabric
I ordered this year, I think I heard them scream something about "She's gonna kill us with all the fabric she buys!!!"
And that was bad enough, but they hid all my good stuff on the way out....

My elves have actually started hiding dust and threads behind the legs of the sewing machine! Lazy creatures!

I agree with bearisgray......I have Gremlins that come in and really make a mess! I am certain I have nothing to do with this disaster!

Yeah, I've totally given up on trying to get the elves to come back and help. I think it's cause I can't get the gremlins to leave.

I fired my elves because all they wanted to do was sit around and eat candy canes all day, and they messed up my sewing room!

I think my cat Zipper has them cornered under my sewing table. He refuses to come out even with the promise of treats.

I think this is when they get their vacations. To get all rested and refreshed before all us last minute quilters scurry to do our Christmas gifts......

I fired mine because they always put stuff where I couldn't find it.
