Default Sampling embroidery stitches from mjy new Pfaff

Sharing my first project sampling some of the embroidery stitches that come with my new Pfaff Performance 5.0. I purchased the circular attachment for the Pfaff, got out of my comfort zone to learn to use it by viewing a you tube.

Plan to make a needle case with this sample run.

How fun! I will have to look into this when I have time. I just got into doing more embroidery with my machine too. More the embellishments for shirts and pants for my niece.

When I get a new machine I make a stitch book. I put iron on interfacing on fabric and cut pages about 10 " square and start with stitch 1 and sew across stopping at intervals to change sizes of each stitch, After I do all the stitches I sew 2 pages together and make a front and back cover. I then put grommets in the pages and put the book together with large looseleaf rings you can get at office supplies. Then when I am looking for a stitch I can page through and see what they actually sew out like. It really helps.

nice stitches--it will make a neat needle case
Have also made a "Stitch Bible" as shasta5718 did--it is nice to look at the stitches and see the changes you can make by lengthing or decreasing the stitches.

You go girl. I got a new machine in January. I spent 2 weeks going through all my stitches, but still have hundreds of things I haven't tried. Getting up in the morning is so much sweeter with all that undiscovered potential just waiting for me. I made a needle book last week using the free pattern from: http://www.rebeccamaedesigns.com/hom...-and-tutorial/
