DH and I went to a garage sale today.....and boy, did we score!!!
I've just re-done my craft/sewing room and wanted a 12" deep x 6' shelf but the price was outta sight for us right now. So ----- at the garage sale:

1 12" deep x 6' shelf (white mylar - or whatever that stuff is)
3 white closet brackets (the kind you put in the closet - has a bar for hanging clothes)
clothes bar
4 gray L shaped brackets for DH's garage
1 potato masher (for the 5th wheel)

ALL for $7.00!!!! That's about a $50.00 value!!!!

EXCELLENT! I stopped by a garage sale early this spring because I saw a shelf thing in the garage....walked up, was a CD shelf with 6 shelves and about 40 inches tall, would fit perfectly under my current shelving - so I walked up, said hi to everyone and the first thing the guy said was "if you will take that shelf thing home, i'll give it to you for free". I laughed and told him that the "shelf thing" was the reason I stopped - and he STILL gave it tome for free!

So i took it home and the shelves are perfect depth for FQs!!!! Score!
