DD#2 (Jen) just called and really wants me to go. So.... I'm at 90% now. Clothes are in the washer and I found my fanny pack and stuffed some cash, credit card and license in it as well as pain killers.

Personally, I think it would be great to spend time with your daughter, but not at the expense of your comfort. On the other hand, I've been to Disneyland once, about 30 years ago and there's no way I'd go back there, my own personal opinion.

I think I would go. I'm sure she will understand when you need to sit and rest. And what wonderful memories you will be making.

Go For It!!! You will have a wonderful day...you can always take it easy for a day or two afterward  Find a bench in the shade, get a cool drink and take a break while they are in line for a ride that you don't want to go on 8) You will be taking breaks to for beverages and lunch...you will be fine and having a great day and making a wonderful birthday memory for her 8) 8) 8)

Yes, Gayle, go!!! D'land has lots of benchs for resting (ask me how I know! LOL), & you can always ride the train around the park too. I think you'll have a great time - if I hadn't been out of town on my b'day, I would have been there on the 7th! :D

I agree, you should go! That doesn't mean you have to run around the park like a 22-year-old! You can always sit down and plan to meet everyone after they get off a ride. Just make sure you all have a cell phone so you can meet up when you want to! Sounds like your daughter would really like to have you there, and Disneyland is always fun, even if you don't do everything.

Go..go...go....time spent with just Mom and DD is too precious to let that get away! I think they have wheel chairs there that you can use if you need to..but it sounds like a great day to me and you'll have fun when you get there!

You probably have left by now and I hope you are gone on your way to Disney. I would love to spend a day with my daughters - especially if they really wanted me too. We live so far away that we only get to see each other once or twice a year. You may end up in pain and have to take it easy for a couple of days, but it will still mean something special to all of you down the road.
