I wish you could see us right now. By "us", I mean one kitty-cat and three dogs. I have an electric blanket I just got out to use. it really helps me with joint and muscle pain. Kitty decided it was nice and snuggly, and she is pushed as close to me as she can get while snuggling the warm blanket. She has her little gray and black paws tucked under her chin, her eyes are closed, and she has a big satisfied grin on her face.

Our chihuahua, Gus, got right under my feet. He has made a tunnel for himself, and he is sleeping peacefully under his part of the blanket. His ears are all pink from being so toasty and warm.

Our pomeranian, Niko, has made a puddle out of a part of the blanket, and he is sleeping in a warm orange, little ball. He is a senior citizen, and the heat is a wamr balm to his achey joints.

And the bassett....well he is right next me to me trying to figure out how he is going to get a piece of the action. Too bad they don't made heated quilts!

it is no fun when you are having a bad day physically but think of it...if I felt good today, I would have never gotten this blanket out, and have had this great experience with my pets all snuggled and piled around me in furry little balls. What a great morning!

We just lost our little Trouble Cat to cancer last week. She loved our mattress warmer. She learned to turn it on!!! She would tunnel under the sheets and quilt to get warm and toasty! On cool days we would leave it on for her.

What a great story, and what a great way to find the lemonade in the lemons! Have a great day, and thank God for our critters!

Kola does the same thing with my electric blanket. She expects me to leave it on all day while she is sleeping.

Awwwwww!
Makes me wish I wasn't so allergic to my outside-only kitties.

It's a cool, gray, rainy day here today, too, and I'm feeling achy and sleepy but with too much to do. How nice snuggling under some warmth would be about now!

I'm sorry you are having a bad day...Same here...I have felt sooo tired the past few days and last night the aching started. I didn't sleep well last night because I hurt too much. Same today..have the blaaa's and am so sleepy. I am thinking about laying down, but hate to jeopardize my sleep tonight...Ah the fun of fibromyalgia! :|

It seems our pets all love to snuggle up in warmth and comfort and love the company of humans, my two little rescue dogs get in my bed and snuggle up under the duvet first thing in the morning when it's cold here in South Wales, UK :-) :-) :-)
