Was trying to put a cuff on a dog's snowsuit leg...now thats a long story...and managed to put the needle into my left hand index fingernail. Well scared myself, grabed the finger and squeesed tight, and yell for the DH to get me an ice pack. I was shaking and waiting for the pain. (yeah I know, whimp) DH got the ice then a band aid. As it turns out I had put the needle into the nail and just enough into the bed to get some blood. It didn't hurt after all and boy thats lucky for me. TeeHee had a glass of wine just to insure against any possible pain!

I was working on my Brother Novelle 1500 S. Could have been a whole lot worse.

Smart preventative measure with the wine! Glad it wasn't more serious!

I'm so glad it wasn't any worse than that. You are lucky. That is my nightmare. I would need a glass of wine after that too. :-D

Glad it wasn't worse. Hope you iced it anyway, prevents more bruising!

I'm right there with you. Yesterday, I got my sewing machine needle through my left index finger....I'm not sure how it happened, but at least I didn't get any blood on my fabric!
