my husband is the Utah State Paleontologist. Here is a recipe he had given me some time ago. Probably not what you will want but thought you would have fun looking at it :-D

Bone Hunter's Spam Delight

Recipe By : James I. Kirkland Ph.D.
Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Meats

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 Can spam

Open can. Take a green branch from a Utah Juniper. Sharpen the point. Plunge it through the Spam. Hold over a low fire of Juniper wood. Turn slowly. Roast for about 15 minutes. May be eaten off the stick or sliced onto some hard tack.

NOTES : This is a delightful meal eaten often by underfunded paleontologists in the field.

How about dirt cake?? It's really easy to make, and you could put gummy dino's in there. I did it for boy scouts ane year. I used gummy worms and bugs. I added gummy eye balls for a halloween party one year.

I won't touch that one! Can you make "fossils" out of plaster of paris? Now I have that T-Rex song from the Dinosaur Train show running through my head.

Also Walmart used to have these sandwhich cutters that cut off the crust of the bread and they cut it into 2 dinosaurs one on each half. You could do that if you can still get one. You could also make dinosaur track cookies or cut leaf shapes out of green fruit roll-ups and they could be for the Plant -eaters and then make a plate for the meat eaters too ! hee hee Just my 3 cents! lol
