Snow in Dallas

I actually thought about cutting out the pieces for a Downy quilt, but by the time I could get my thoughts organized and drink my lukewarm "hot cocoa" the power came on. This is the only time in 14 years we have had the power off this long, so we don't have any experience. And I seriously hope next time doesn't come. My husband and I were discussing how spoiled we are.

Wow I didn't know Texas ever got snow. Sorry I guess we sent the snow we should have had your way. ooops.
We even went fishing last weekend and had to take our coats off. I've never been fishing in February because its usually to cold. I won't rub it in with pictures. ha. :shock:

I lived in Dallas ages ago. The most snow I think we got was a 1/4" and people were sliding everywhere. I have been there through ice storms. I lived there when the tornado hit on Mother's Day in Wylie. My kids helped with the clean up and found the Mickey D sign clear across town.
