this is what we have here. I had to push the snow to open the back door. That's enough for me!!! If anyone wants some snow, I'll gladly pack it up and ship it to you....lol.

Thanks anyway but I have enough here. We don't have nearly as much as you do but we're having 20-30mph winds with gusts of over 50mph. White outs with a layer of ice under the snow---extremely hazardous driving conditions when you get outside of town and there's nothing but flat fields for miles and miles. Nothing to stop the wind at all. White outs here get so bad that you can't see the hood of your car let alone the road, ditch, pole or other cars in front of you. Good time to stay home and quilt.

We have the wind here too. It died down for a little bit, so they were out shoveling again. We have 20-30 mile winds here too. We have lots of trees here to help with all the blowing snow. I lived in Ill for a few years and I know how it can be there. :) I'd rather be here. Stay safe and inside :)!!!!!

It's here now and coming down hard. It's windy but tomorrow is the really windy day. Did the usual "run to the store" this morning... bought coffee and goodies, which I really don't need. What is it about snow, a wood fire and coffee that requires goodies?? Sometimes I love this isolated feeling, peaceful and snug. No unexpected company so I can concentrate on quilting.

My sister lives in Ca. Maybe I should be visiting her right now!!! We went there this summer and it was so hot. I couldn't believe it....and windy. I thought my sisters kid was going to blow away.

Where are you at in NW OHIO...I'm in SE Michigan (Lenawee Co), and it's still just coming down really lightly, and thankfully, no wind at this time.
