We are so fortunate to live on a road that is plowed quite a lot. I know some of my guild members do not have 4 wheel drive and can only get out when they go somewhere in hubby's truck!
Welcome to the Quilting Board!

Sadie is a big yellow lab that is very spoiled. She hangs out in front of the heater and acts like she is freezing, but had a great time in the snow, even though I was freezing! It was so cold and she was running in and out of the creek like it was summer!
Vicki, where are you in NC. That is my home state. I am hoping to get my husband to go back there for retirement in a few years. Hopefully somewhere in the mountains.
Sadie is gorgeous and must be a blast to watch.
I must say, you live in a beautiful place.
About 30 miles or so from Asheville---Between burnsville, NC and Asheville off of Bald Mountain.Originally Posted by shaverg

Vicki, that is the area we hope to look at for retirement. I love Ashville.
I was born and raised in South Louisiana and have lived in NC for over 20 years, just not in the mountains. We love it here too. The people are very warm and friendly and the town that I live closest to has 2 quilt shops and a great guild. We couldn't have picked a better place!Originally Posted by shaverg
