We left Wednesday for my DD's house, two hours away. Our oldest DGS's high school graduation was that night. It was in an outside Pavillion and there were 997 graduates. It lasted two hours, which wasn't bad. We stayed over until today; there was an Open House for him. Needless to say, we're proud of him; he has been accepted into SMU (in Texas).
Both sets of grandparents stayed the same time and we had a nice visit I was able to use my laptop, so didn't miss too much computer time. However, I missed my sewing. Tomorrow I'll be cutting out squares and Monday I'll be back to sewing.

997 grads?! That is more than twice as big as our entire high school! Our graduation took almost 2 hours for 112 kids! We need to talk to the person that organized yours and learn how to speed things up! :)

There is no place like home and sleeping in your own bed.

I understand that the person in charge of the graduation was transferred to another campus. but he had done such a good job that he was asked to continue with overseeing the graduation.

LOL! If he can get that many grads done in 2 hours, I'd never let him go.
