Default I gotta show off my furry son

This is my kinda new (to me) puppy, Leo. After our beloved Yankee died, we just didn't think we were up for another doggy. But then we found out about Leo & between his adorable face & his sad story (dumped as a puppy, spent a bit of time at a pound & was rescued by a true angel hours before he was to be put down) & it was love. He's a Lab/Basset hound mix & just turned a year old. He is absolutely a total love bug & likes nothing more than plopping his 55 pounds in my lap for a nap... LOL! I can't imagine my life without him.

I wish we had a whole section for our furry kids, don't you? Maybe we could just start one. Waht do you think?

Thanks for letting me brag about my boy.

What a sweet face. He's a beauty. We used to have a Basset hound/Lab mix, but she was black with long ears. A real sweetheart.

What a great combination! I hope he doesn't have too much of the stubborness of the Bassett. Although stubborn, very sweet. Labs are sweet and smart. He is so cute. Good fortune to you all!

I am so glad you found each other. Another dog will help ease the pain of losing one, just keep getting another, that is what I do. When the time comes to cross the rainbow bridge me and all my pets will fill it up, I have lost so many cats and dogs over the years.
He is a cutie and looks so serene.
