Logan our 10 mo. old bassett's wrist has hurt him for over a week..
Vet say the cartlege in his wrist has separated from the bone. He will wear the soft cast for 2 weeks and if the wrist does not heal, we have to take him to a specialist tofuse it..... poor little guy had puppy strangles when he was 9 weeks old and was sick for 2 mo. He's been through a lot in his short life.

Logan

Thanks, he's a good little guy (45 lbs.) just a little spoiled from when he was so sick. I kept him wrapped in a towel and held him all the time. Did you see the pug, Josie, in the back ground. She's my real baby.

You know, I had a cat once who got sick at a very young age and almost died. She ended up THRIVING and lived a long, happy life~!

He's so pretty! Our dog is half bassett. She has the short wrinkly legs and feet of a bassett but the rest of her looks like a lab. Hope he starts feeling better soon. I just can't get over how pretty he is. He looks like he's taking to recovery well though.

my Loki had arthritis so bad his wrist was curving to the side and the Vet put soft cast on him for a month. it really helped.

So how much stuff did Loki get into? :)

Reminds me of a story of a couple who had a black lab. The entire neighborhood told them the dog was getting out. They could not figure out how as when they came back home, he was in the fence happy as a clam. Apparently they put up a video camera somewhere and saw him sneaking out and covering up his evidence, and then sneak back in.

Dogs name, Loki

lol
