thats like me, I put in the water turned it on waited went and poured my coffee, took a drink of hot water forgot the coffee...........

I find more of these type of things happening much more often than they use to. Just a different way to live. It won't get any better so we must just laugh about it all.

Seems like we have all been there at one time or another. Years ago I turned on the burner with my coffee pot empty and not realizing it until I smelled something......the bottom burned out of it and had to replace the burner. :hunf:

I put the water in my coffee maker but didn't put the lid down and turned it on. The coffee sprayed everywhere!!!

I was rather thankful that I went out to check. The hotplate was heated up.
