We had a fire in our home about 3 weeks ago. Have been living in our RV while they are making substantial repairs inside and outside of our house. While no damage ocurred to my sewing area (not even smoke damage thank goodness) I have been unable to get to it to sew. Today it looks as if they will finish up that part of the house so I can get up there. It will be another week or so before the rest is finished....just in time for me to leave on a long planned trip. My DH says not to worry...he will get it back in order while I'm gone. Can't decide if that will be a good or a bad thing. LOL I might only have half my stuff when I get back.

Sorry to hear about your fire. HUGS - Best of all its almost over and soon you'll be back to normal. I bet your machine misses you, maybe a few little stitches will sooth its loneliness. :-D :-D

You sound like you are coping very well! We had a plumbing flood this year and it was very stressful for me...and I didn't even have to leave the house. Prayers & Hugs!

So sorry to hear about the fire. Glad everyone was okay. Hmmm if my hubby had to put my stuff away, I'd probably be missing a lot because he wouldn't have a clue what it was or what it was for. I can see the seam ripper ending up in the bathroom LOL.
