Default spools of thread garland

I knew I should have saved all of my empty thread spools. How cute is this?? It is on my list for next year.

I love this idea. it would be great for next years ornament swap. I could picture a tiny block on the spool instead of the felt

Very similar to a sewmanyways.blogspot Tuesday post from a couple of weeks ago. She used the bigger spools and red buttons.

How clever! Shame I can't share this with my friends who sew since I am going to ask them to save their empty spools for me for a "special project". Well.....maybe I will share it with them!
