I am on plavix, aspirin, so as anyone knows this is a very careful life. On quilting my quilt by hand I had a lot of punctures and so had to wait until everything healed up. So today I tried the spoon, Hip Horray!!!!!!!!!! A whole square and none of my blood.

Thanks ladies & gentlemen.

How wonderful that it works for you. I also use small beading pliers to pull the needle thru when my "push" finger gets sore from missing the thimble. Slow going, but the job gets done :)

if you do get blood on your quilt, your own spit will remove it. It really really works. LOL

Great idea and it is always good when you can keep the blood on the inside. :)

I didn't know that. My spit would be handy. I always use shampoo. :)
