Just when I was thinking that spring would never arrive this year, I looked out my back window to see two female bluebirds checking out the numerous bird houses we have up for them.

I may start to make little-bitty quilts for them to take in there with them since we are going to get snow several more times this week.

Well, Spring is here, according to the birds, even though it's barely above freezing. Yesterday there was a whole tree of robins, and cedar waxwings that migrate through. Then I heard red wing blackbirds. And....I have a couple naughty chipmunks that appeared and immediately started climbing all over the back door, looking for food!

My DH is outside a lot - we live on a farm - and he says that the geese have been flying north for weeks - a very good sign.

we have geese flying over head. so know i am looking for a robin, can't wait until
spring gets here .

Happy first day of spring. We woke up to a nice fresh white coat on everything. LOL

I'm waiting to hear a cuckoo. It always reminds me of ring when this cheeky rascal arrives.
