I went to Ozark High School in Ozark, MO to talk to a domestic service class about Project Linus. They had made several fleece blankets to donate and wanted me to come and pick them up. They wanted to hear about Project LInus. I ended up speaking to two groups. You can never start early enough talking to kids about community service. On the way back, I counted 8 dead skunks on 65N from the CC exit to the Sunshine exit. Yep, Spring is in the air.

No sign of spring here yet - just south of Chicago. Snow this morning but it melted already. None of my bulbs are up, not even my cheery crocus. No Robins.

The honeysuckles in the backyard are budding green leaves, my bulbs are popping up, and my forsythia is budding green. Oh! And we saw our first skunk cabbage along the side of the road. Yep! Spring really is coming! (just not soon enough for me!)

Thankfully we don't have those critters in Georgia! I grew up in Ks and lived in Tx too where there were plenty of skunks.

Hello fellow southwest Missourian! We are near Lebanon and drove to Richland for our grandson's basketball game and saw numerous dead skunks, etc. along the road! My DH came running in the kitchen yesterday and said to look on our pond - lots of geese - they took off flying NORTH! WOOOHOOO!
