Just Sayin'

I cannot wait for spring break to start later this week. I haven't had a chance to work on an actual quilt for a while -- when I can't stand it I can whip together a bag, but I have so many quilts I want to do!

(plus the snowman swap, plus the b/w/bright swap, plus the boomerang swap...)

Here's hoping for some major quilty productivitiy!!

Have fun. I love it when I get a few days off to quilt. Enjoy yours.

Lucky you. I haven't had a holiday, weekend or weekday off in 5 years.

Oh, I forgot to say, when you're retired you don't get holidays or weekend off, you're still retired no matter what day it is. LOL

I am so looking forward to spring break this year. Last years was horrible. My DD left a pan of oil on a turned on burner and it caught fire. luckily most of the damage was in the kitchen. We spent the whole break cleaning black walls thru out the apartment. The kitchen had to be scrubbed 3 times but it didn't do any good. My sewing space is between the livingroom and the kitchen so I had to wash everything that I have stored there. This is when I found out what wonderful people go to our church. They came over to help with the clean up. It was a mess. But now my kids are fire jumpy. Now everytime the smoke detector goes off all 3 of my kids disappear running out the front door screaming. I know it is not funny but I get a good laugh out of it now.
Hope nobody has this kind of break. I hope all get to enjoy it all they can.

Spring break here was last week. I spent the week out of state, visiting the beautiful New Mexico area. The skiing was great, lots of snow for this time of year. My DGD went with me and she learned to ski this year. I have taken her on a trip every spring break since she has been in school. We have made some great memories together. I've learned to say we'll be back later and we leave!
