Default I love having a hooker in the house <3

Several years ago on a fabric shopping trip, dh passed the time waiting for me by browsing through books. He came upon one for rug hooking. The rest is history:-)

Our house showcases many of his efforts and my personal favorite are the pads he hooked for the stair risers. But the other day I requested a pad for the old piano stool I use at one of my treadles. He came through :-)

best,

He is very talented and creative! You are very lucky to have a fellow crafter as a spouse.

Wow... He does a great job with his rug hooking. Lucky you that he likes to do crafts.

Does he do the locker hooking fabric rugs? Just learned about them this month. Am going to try to make something using that method.

Oh, lucky you!

I took a short (3 hour) class last year and enjoyed it, but it's not an inexpensive hobby - and between quilting and cross stitch, I've already got enough toys and supplies around, so havent wanted to sink any more money into another craft. Without the gripper hoop, it's not easy - so I'm sticking to what I have and know.

Your seat cover is lovely, would love to see a picture of the stair covers.

A piano stool at the sewing machine, I REALLY like that idea. I have one in my attic that should come downstairs. Great padding so you don't get a sore butt!

And I like guys who like to step outside what is expected of them. (and women too for that matter!)
