It is March 22 and Mid and Southern Minnesota, from what the weatherman says, is going to be lambasted, possible 11" of snow. That is tonight and tomorrow and then Thursday, it'll be up in the 40's again. I have lilies, Daffy-dils up and they are on the southern side of the house, so, the snow will melt there first. Not too worried. I remember April 6, 1952 - snow storm......so us Minnesotans take this all in stride. I gotta get out today and get some food so I don't starve when the snow comes and we can't open our doors!!!!!!! Hasn't happened yet, but it is fun getting Klondike Bars, frozen waffles and now my latest - Tostito Rods and Almond Swiss cheese. Have some good days coming up. Get some sewing done and start Spring cleaning! Edie

Second day of spring brought 6 inches of snow to my part of Maine. I was not a happy camper having to shovel the driveway again :-(.
