I know we love pictures so I wanted to show you who we shared our yard with a couple of years ago. My husband took the pictures, and as I came home, he was jumping all over the driveway yelling "Hurry! Hurry!" He had figured out our new camera, but didn't know how to download pix to the computer and was going crazy! These were our baby Great Horned Owls.

Those are great,we had an owl in our garage once, more like a barn. My brother scared him to much and he left. I never got to see them close. Those are great. I hope they stick around. Tell hubby he took a great picture :D

I love to bird watch---but have never seen anything that wonderful in my yard! Have they ever been back?

Great photo! I haven't seen anything like that here in the city. But I hear a hooty! I love having the windows open and waking to the early birds!

They were back the next year, but now we haven't seen them. But we hear other owls at night. We also have fox so that might have something to do with it. Our neighbors had red tail hawks nesting for a few years. That may have upset them also. I guess birds don't know about Home Owner Associations, rules and regulations, etc.
