Have a pattern, what do you use for the shakers regular batting

Actually I meant soakers not shakers if anyone has made these and can help

Wow, does that take me back to the not so good old days! I bought the little ones that had a cotton waffle weave fabric with padding in the main section. I never took a pair apart to see but they were about as thick as regular 80/20 quilt batt.(if I remember correctly) Maybe someone who makes them will give you some pointers.

Look up diaper making supplies on the internet. I remember seeing several websites that sold material for diapers as well as patterns. Here's one I found: http://www.sewmanydiapers.com/

I used several layers of flannel in regular panties for my mom. Used a regular 'pad' for pattern shape - used big stitches to sew around the edge and then tacked them into panties.
