Hope you recover soon ! Good thing you don't need your ankle to participate on the board.

Take care Franie. The reason that you can't be up too long is because that ankle needs to be elevated above your heart. I think that if your DH rigged up a board with a rope and a pulley on one end then strapped your leg to it then rigged up a pole on the back of your wheelchair that had an extension going out over your head a ways and some pulleys on it you could tie your leg up high enough to sit on your computer or at your sewing machine. LLLLLL OH LOL
Get a good mental image of that implanted in your mind!!! LOL Remember, laughter is good for you. I could maybe draw up some plans if you want.

RaptureReady's reply was good. I would also suggest when the doctor rigs it up he puts a motor on it so it would do it automatically. Say, maybe we could all use that for a good exercise session. Let's see - both legs, both arms and now we will have to think of how to do the middle. I really do hope the pain gets better and you recover soon.

Do what the doctors tell you! You ankle can be a nuisance
after it heals.

Glad to hear from you. Take time to heal and don't push, I know it's hard, but you;ll be glad in the end, no relapses.
