Yesterday morning I was out early and saw a sign for a Neighborhood Garage Sale in an upscale subdivision. Oh, goody...the neighborhood isn't huge and easy to drive. Well, first stop was 1 table of books, 1 bookcase of dvds and 1 small rack of men's clothes. Hmm, I did end up buying some season sets of Criminal Minds and Law & Order SVU.

Next stop was 3 tables of glassware, next stop was 2 tables of nothing, next stop was a few stuffed animals....are you getting the picture yet?????????????

It was more trouble to put up the stuff than any money the seller would make!!!!

Oh, one lady did comment when I ask about fabric that she had a big bag of fabric but she just didn't want to bring it out!!!

Oh well...

Bummer it wasn't a very good yard sale. We didn't go saling much this year in fact I think we only went to two or three. :(

Funny, I've been to a few garage sales like that too! I mean, just donate the small bag of stuff to Goodwill! I don't get it.

I see a lot that are just Tupperware and baby things. You can usually spot those kind from the car.

I've been to those yard sales! People sitting outside with one little table of things that I probably would have thrown away. Maybe they're bored!

I just pack it up and drop it off at goodwill. They are happy to get it and I am happy to give it. A win-win. I never understand where people get there time to set up a sale with just a few items. I had a neighbor that did that.

I love Criminal Minds and would love to find a set of DVDs at a yard sale! I usually don't bother to stop if there is only a few items.
