Now THIS is my problem - this is not JUST a part of my memories, it is my foundation of existence - I wanna go back to this time - it is my comfort zone. How many of you feel that way? and PROUD of it!

Me too! I'm old enough to remember all of the 50s and 60s. I still listen to 50s and 60s music in my car. Makes my married kids crazy.

I am with you all the way. If we could go back to those days right now, it would cure America's current problems. Those were the best of times! If you didn't grow up in that time period you can't understand...and don't know what you missed.

:-D

I have to agree. Those were wonderful times. My parents could take my little sis and I downtown, drop us off, and let us spend the day there. I can't even let my DGD out of my sight in my neighborhood now

It sad to think that he is right the 60's ended our innocence We can Never go back to those times. I think the start of it all was the assasination of President Kennedy.

There are some things I don't miss about that time period.

I do love the music though. I think there was more originality then . Everyone didn't sound the same. And I can still sing along with the songs . LOL NOt that anyone wants to hear that even the dog leaves the room .

I was not allowed to watch television much when I was a kid unless it was my grandparents programs so I missed a lot of what everyone else was watching.
I graduated high school in 70 and sadly missed Woodstock altogether. I wish I had just went...

If we could keep the good stuff and throw out the bad.
Thanks for the memories though
Hmm I wonder where my 8 tracks are..... lol
