got a new home NLB for free . pictures later. but the instruction book is stuck together because of water damage. Anyone have ideas of how to unstick them. I have seperated some pages but some are stubborn.

I would try using a hair blower. Heat works to soften adhesives; might also work to soften the plastic that is sticking the pages together.

If the hair blower doesn't work, I would try steam from a tea kettle spout.

If all the hints don't work try googling the name of the sewing machine plus manual and get a new one!

Holding in over steam, either from a streamer or boiling water. It has worked for me before.

I have suceeded. I eventually put the book and a bowl of water in the micro and let the whole thing steam. Although holding the pages over steam worked, I got impatient. thus the micro. all but the back cover and last page are apart. thank you for the suggestions. love this board
